The Diverge has penned its own chapters in that story for over a decade, thanks to an unrivaled combination of swiftness, capability, and confidence.

Today, a new chapter begins—Diverge 4 takes that magic recipe to the next level. Think of all the ways Diverge has set the standard for gravel bikes, now turn it to 11. SMOOTHER IS FASTER

Future Shock 3.0 plus the most responsive Diverge ever make Diverge 4 the cheat code for gravel. Positioned between the stem and headtube, Future Shock 3.0 delivers 20mm of hydraulically damped travel, absorbing impacts without compromising weight, handling, or responsiveness. It’s more tunable, more adjustable, and delivers its full travel to more riders, regardless of fit.

Pairing a smooth front end with a harsh rear end doesn’t make for speed or comfort, so we paired Future Shock 3.0 with the Roval Terra Seatpost. When your rear wheel hits a bump, it deflects—up to 18mm—in the opposite direction of the wheel’s upward travel. It keeps your mass stable and your rear wheel planted to harness every watt. We call this “vector compliance” and it weighs less than 200 grams.

 

 

ABSURDLY CAPABLE

Be prepared. If doomsday preppers rode gravel, they’d ride a Diverge 4. There’s simply no gravel bike with a greater combination of storage capability and tire clearance. SWAT 4.0 is the most advanced internal storage system ever fitted to a gravel bike. With a lever-actuated flush door and the biggest opening on gravel, it makes room for everything from tubes and CO2 to jackets, tools, and nutrition. Even the Diverge E5 Alloy gets SWAT 3.0, making it the first alloy gravel bike with internal frame storage.

Diverge 4 supports up to 50mm (700c) tires, delivering massive grip, fewer flats, and supreme comfort. Developed with input from our Factory Off-Road team, the new standard for clearance is optimized for both high-speed racing and raw exploration.

 

 

CONFIDENCE FOR ANY CHALLENGE

Engineered for the limit. Our engineers queried our gravel factory team, talked to hundreds of riders, put in countless miles on all kinds of terrain, and raced events in every corner of the globe. They then got busy translating those hopes and dreams into angles and millimeters and made the most progressive Diverge ever.

Across the range, they gave Diverge 4 a slacker headtube while progressively extending the reach across the line—8mm on the 56cm, for instance, but only 4mm on the 54cm. By lowering Diverge 4’s bottom bracket height by 5mm, we kept the same ride height riders love, even when mating 50mm tires. All this adds to the feeling of sitting IN the bike, not ON the bike, for ultimate confidence.

High-performance shouldn’t be limited by budget. That’s why Diverge 4 E5 Alloy brings the best of its carbon sibling into a lightweight and durable E5 alloy frame. Not to mention being the only alloy gravel bike in the world with internal storage.
